Josh and Katie approached us with a wish to change their kitchen as part of their larger home renovation. They shared photos of their current space and a brief on structural changes that were about to take place. Inspired by one of our previous birch plywood kitchen projects, they chose it as a style and material benchmark for their new kitchen. The challenge? An unusually angled kitchen layout. After our quotation, which included design service, Josh and Katie quickly gave us the green light to begin our collaboration.
Opting for clear varnished birch plywood across the kitchen and sleek full j-groove handle cut- outs, we wrapped up the aesthetic design swiftly. The real task was tackling the kitchen’s unique angles, ensuring a seamless cooking flow, practical appliance positioning, and ample storage. After thoughtful planning, we crafted a layout separating the washing station with a sink – striking the perfect balance between practicality and elegance. With the design set, it was time for production.
Midway, Josh and Katie extended the project to include their utility room, mirroring the kitchen’s style. The utility room, dictated by appliance dimensions, moved rapidly from design to production alongside the kitchen. Our detailed site survey paved the way for a smooth installation, showcasing our team's expertise.
